Lagos NUJ Pledges 100% Support To NAWOJ
The newly elected exco members of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Lagos state led by Comrade Adeleye Ajayi have promised total support for the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) Lagos State Chapter.
This support came on the heels of the
courtesy visit by the heirachy of later under the leadership of the Chairperson, Comrade Adeola Ekine to officially congratulate the Nigeria’s number two and Lagos state number one Journalist and his team .
According to Ajayi , who happily received the NAWOJIANS for their visit stressed that the NUJ would do everything within its reach to support NAWOJ in all their dealings.
The Chairperson, Comrade Adeola Ekine appreciated the Executive members of NUJ, Lagos Council for the warm reception, and tasked the leadership of Lagos Council on the need to run an all-inclusive adminstration in order to take the Union to greater heights.
The visit came after the NAWOJ Executive held its first Executive meeting in year 2021 to review the Association activities in year 2020 and plan for the successful running of the association in the new year.
