Nigeria is set to host a workshop at the 17th International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV) to support the Federal Government’s Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) efforts.
The workshop, titled “Designing and Implementing Scalable and Inclusive DPI in African Context,” calls for DPI-focused papers from researchers.
Papers should align with conference tracks such as Trust and Ethical Digital Governance and Digital Transformation in the Public Sector.
The top three DPI paper authors will be sponsored to attend the Special Workshop. Submissions close on April 21, 2024, with acceptance notifications by July 10, 2024.
ICEGOV, organized by the United Nations University (UNU-EGOV) and UNESCO, gathers academia, governments, and industry to discuss Digital Governance. ICEGOV2024 will be held in Pretoria, South Africa, from October 1st to 4th.
Nigeria’s participation aims to enhance its global research impact, offer broader insights on digital governance, and strengthen its research leadership in the Global South. ICEGOV2024 provides a platform for Nigeria to showcase its commitment to digital governance through quality research and global collaboration.
