In a statement signed by his Manager, Joshua Babatunde, the new video gave credence to the song, which is a strong narrative that would change the love of money to true love.
“Duro in Yoruba means ‘wait’, and is a song that talks about waiting and being cared for by true love. True love is almost non existent today because it is overshadowed by ephemeral things.”
Troy whose real name is Shalom Olaleye and a mass communication undergraduate of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Ogun State, said the song is a plea for assurance to new and existing relationship depending on the perspective.
According to the love prophet, his genre of music is afro pop and plead with everyone to make their relationship work because that could also prolong life expectancy.
The serimakumaricata crooner also added that the new video is a must watch for families.
