Osayi, who said this during a brief visit to Montreal to meet and encourage women, maintained that women should be more empowered to help their communities and families in all spheres.
She emphasized that this is a new dawn, and no 21st-century woman should fall into depression or feel sorry for herself.
While highlighting what WODI stands for, she said the NGO “Is here to assist families, especially women, to discover their passion, especially those who missed such opportunity while growing up as a girl child.”
She further explained the impact of and contribution of WODI to families to include skills empowerment, training, daily Impact talk, food bank, Girl Child initiatives and integration are what drives the vision—at the same time, advising WODI Women in Montreal to stay committed to the ideas and objectives of the organization.
The president maintained that there was a need to leave a landmark for generations yet unborn.
